I have a woman friend that I’ve known for over ten years. She and I started our careers together and have kept in close touch with one another over the years….I too am married and 47 yoa. Over the past couple of years, we have grown even closer….We both do not have perfect marriages, and often share the imperfections with each other, I suppose in a way to feel a little better that we can “vent” About six months ago, she and I were having one of those conversations, and I began to realize how perfect she and I would be together…You see our problems with our sposes are quite similar, and I dropped a subtle hint with a pinch of sarcasm…”Wouldnt it be funny if your husband and my wife were together and you and I were?” We laughed together about that. More recently we had lunch together and she dropped almost the exact same sarcastic “hint” within the context of our conersation. She and I have also more recently picked up the frequency of our contact, had lunch recently, and plannning to go and have drinks together. I am really attracted to her, and admitedly, if the oppportunity presented itself, I would jump all over the opportunity to have an affair with “D”. So I’m interested in your thoughts on th subject…Shall I press forward with this, let it run its course or????
